These groups play a vital role in developing technical standards, advocating for interoperability, and addressing real-world challenges across global supply chains. The TSC develops and maintains technical specifications for barcodes and symbologies, many of which have become international ISO standards. The group ensures reliable, globally accepted encoding methods for data capture.
